ED4D Pitch Event

On 28 September participants of the project Entrepreneurship by Diaspora 4 Development (ED4D) pitched their business ideas to a jury and to potential investors.
The ED4D project encourages the Ghanaian and Ethiopian diaspora residing in the Netherlands,or Dutch entrepreneurs in partnership with the diaspora, to engage themselves as entrepreneurs for the development of the private sector in Ghana and Ethiopia.

The project is implemented by IOM in collaboration with PUM (Netherlands senior experts).

The session consisted of three rounds of inspiring ideas delivered by enthusiastic diaspora entrepreneurs, who are dreaming of giving back to Ghana and Ethiopia and contributing to economic growth. The participants were able to use the knowledge gained after an intense month of entrepreneurial training sessions, organized by Zidicircle. The business pitch event will continue on 5 October with crowdfunding (with the 1% club) and intercultural communication, followed by a mentoring programme organized by PUM.
