The Return and Reintegration Platform is celebrating its first anniversary.
The Platform has been developed in the context of the EU-IOM Knowledge Management Hub (KMH), established in 2017 under the Pilot Action for Voluntary Return and Sustainable, Community-Based Reintegration funded by the European Union.
The KMH aims to strengthen information sharing and harmonization of return and reintegration approaches, processes and tools under the EU-IOM Joint Initiative and other EU–IOM Actions, and to centralize and disseminate knowledge gained from these programmes and beyond.
As a global tool for sharing knowledge, research and good practices, the Return and Reintegration Platform is available in English and French. It promotes exchanges among practitioners, policy makers and other stakeholders in host, transit and origin countries.
Since its launch in December 2019, the Platform continues to grow and engage with practitioners globally. It has received more than 80,000 page-views from over 180 countries and its membership expanded to more than 520 members across the regions. Close to 500 public resources on return and reintegration are made available, and a series of public webinars have been organized, reaching close to 700 participants.
Throughout the year, KMH collected feedback and proposals from the users, who confirmed their satisfaction with the Platform and contributed with their expertise to further enrich its knowledge base.
Engage with the Platform by sharing new resources, proposing reintegration initiatives for the interactive map and suggesting topics for future webinar and research.
Register to the community of practice and join the conversation!
